While loss doesn’t define who you are it is your response to it that defines who you will become. I have written about this numerous times and I stand by it – we have a choice. Thanks for sharing. I agree the holidays are the worst. My father died a few years back and the holidays always bring back all of these memories. It’s getting easier though with each passing year. I believe my father’s death has made me into a stronger individual and has allowed me to appreciate this life we have on Earth a lot more.
